Responsibilities
Repairing and maintaining machinery, mechanical equipment and associated electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and structural make-up
Light fabrication of guarding and machine structural repairs
Maintaining and troubleshooting process equipment
Updating our computerized maintenance management system (eMaint by Fluke)
Maintaining supply discipline by ordering replacement parts
Rebuilding/repairing pneumatic hand tools
Qualifications
Background in Industrial Maintenance.
Solid background with and knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment repairs.
High mechanical aptitude and ability to apply to a range of equipment.
Able to operate a variety of small hand and power tools, a variety of electronic test and measurement equipment, and a variety of production machines and equipment.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products is necessary.
Curious mindset for trouble-shooting and problem-solving
Preferred, not required
Ability to operate machines such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, welding equipment and other metal working tools to make and repair parts is desirable.
Ability to read electrical schematic/ladder logic diagrams and ability to troubleshoot electronic controlled device.
Knowledge of root cause analysis/troubleshooting skills
Education or working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs
