If you are offered a position that requires a background check you will be provided additional documentation to complete once an offer has been extended*.****Job Details:*** This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.***“This position is slated for Team Members who are currently working at this facility or complex if no qualified applicants all other qualified internal or external applicants will be considered.”***General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. You must be able to set up, adjust and break down production line machinery, be able to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Must be able to read and write where required, must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Must be willing and able to lift, push, or carry up to 25 + lbs., must be able to stand, bend, reach over-head and twist for long periods of time, must be able to stand 10-12 hours a day on hard floors, climb fixed ladders, work in a hot, dusty, damp/warm environment, with a high concentration of allergens such as chick down/ dust, etc.**Work Schedule Shift:

1st Shift - Thursday, Friday and Saturday, every other Wednesday****Hours:

6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.****Requirements:** 6 months of continuous work history within the last 12 months.

A minimum of 1 - year related maintenance experience and/or technical certifications and working knowledge of electricity, power transmissions, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, cutting and the use of shop tools preferred.Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild or exotic fowl to be considered. (Example: Yard chickens, guineas, peacocks, parakeets, parrots, etc.)Possess a Boiler Certification or have the ability to acquire one within 6 months.
