Job Summary Iron Mountain is seeking an
experienced and dynamic
CDL Route Driver to join our
Transportation and Logistics
team.
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for
operating a commercial vehicle (Class A or B)
safely on assigned routes,
delivering exceptional, frontline customer service , and
maintaining the secure chain-of-custody
required for handling our customers' vital information and assets.
What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities) In this role, you will:
Lead
daily logistics operations by safely and efficiently operating a commercial vehicle, completing pre- and post-trip inspections, and driving assigned routes to ensure timely customer service and deliveries.
Develop
a positive customer experience by engaging professionally with clients, accurately executing service requests, and preparing precise paperwork and electronic records for all pickups and deliveries.
Ensure
comprehensive compliance by strictly adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, safety standards, and Iron Mountain’s stringent security and chain-of-custody protocols.
What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications) The ideal candidate will have:
A
valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
and a clean driving record.
A minimum age of
21
and the proven ability to pass a pre-employment
substance abuse screening, background check, and DOT physical .
Strong knowledge of
safe, efficient driving skills
and routine vehicle maintenance procedures.
Proven ability in
safely handling significant physical demands , including frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of containers or materials weighing up to 70 pounds.
