Maintenance Technician Responsibilities As theMaintenanceTechnician your chief responsibility will be to preserve the excellent condition and operational readiness of our facility. This willinclude:
Conduct diagnostic assessments, scheduling, and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment.
Developpreventative maintenance procedures
Documentcompleted work orders andperform otherassignments to ensure a safe, clean healthy and efficient facility.
Physical Requirements This is a physically active role requiring:
Ability to maneuver around heavy equipment including bending, climbing, crawling, manual dexterity Frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing approximately 40 pounds.
If you are a “Jackor Jillof all trades” with a strong knowledge ofindustrialelectric,pump repair, forkliftrepairs,and plumbing,this position would be a perfect fit for you!
Basic Requirements
High schooldiploma or GED,
Mechanically inclined, willingness to learn.
By law, you must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Requirements
Associate degreefromatwo-year college or technical schoolin a relatedfield
Minimum 2 years ofmaintenancework experience including pumps, gear boxes and loader machinery.
Knowledgeofhazardousmaterialhandlingand OSHA training.
As you will interact withinternal staff,ability to communicate in Englishisimportant.
The successful candidate will be required to pass a physical, drug test and DEA background check.
