Position Summary
Maintenance Technician
to join our team at Logan at Ellsworth, a 144-unit Class A/Conventional property. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will assist in all aspects of property maintenance to ensure a safe, well-maintained, and attractive living environment for residents. Maintenance Support:
Assist in conducting inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks to maintain property integrity and functionality. Team Support:
Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and team members, assisting with scheduling, training, and tasks to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery. Safety and Compliance:
Support in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies through inspections and prompt issue resolution. Budget Assistance:
Assist in managing the maintenance budget, monitoring expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while upholding quality standards. Vendor Coordination:
Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Inventory Management:
Assist in maintaining accurate records of equipment, tools, and supplies, overseeing inventory levels, and procurement processes. Emergency Response:
Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies, including after-hours and on-call responsibilities, ensuring resident safety and satisfaction. Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of property maintenance experience. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs. Leadership Abilities:
Strong team collaboration and support skills. Problem-Solving:
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach. Communication:
Effective communication skills for interactions with residents, staff, and vendors. Customer Service Experience:
Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role. Background Check:
Successful completion of background and drug screenings. Nice to Haves:
Relevant certifications such as Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) or HVAC certification. Working Conditions
Location:
Onsite at our property at 250 N. Ellsworth Road, Mesa, AZ 85207 Hours:
Full-time, 8 hours per day, eligible for overtime, with after-hours emergency coverage. Physical Effort:
May involve standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Travel:
Occasional travel required for vendor coordination and training purposes. Compensation:
$22 - $24 per hour Benefits
