Job Summary and Qualifications The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of the ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Technologist provides high‑quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. We are an amazing team, that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.
What you will do in this role:
You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
You will release customers with proper post procedure instructions.
You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications you will need:
Current License as an (MRT) by the State of Texas required.
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (CT) required.
Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
Must be graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
