RN Operating Room – Medical City Arlington
Shift: Full‑Time, Days
Sign‑on bonus up to $30,000 may be available.
Position Summary: RN in Operating Room, full‑time days in a 435‑bed hospital.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients prior to surgery and provide peri‑operative education.
Assume responsibility for patient preparation, including IV therapy, pre‑meds, and surgical site verification.
Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols.
Recognize and respond to patient emergencies and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
Collaborate as an integral member of the interdisciplinary OR team.
Apply nursing process, critical thinking, technical skills, and leadership to deliver safe care.
Assess patient condition, monitor, document changes, and educate patients and families.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) credential.
Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree.
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of start.
Experience in Surgical Services preferred.
