* Plans, organizes, and manages intelligent transportation systems projects including traffic signal systems, adaptive signal control, communication networks, connected vehicle technologies, and traveler information systems.* Prepares project scopes, schedules, budgets, cost estimates, and procurement documents.* Administers consultant and contractor contracts, monitors performance and compliance with terms and conditions.* Coordinates with internal departments, regional agencies, utility providers, and state and federal partners to ensure integration and consistency with transportation programs.* Reviews plans, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and project requirements.* Oversees testing, integration, and acceptance of ITS systems and infrastructure.* Prepares reports, technical memoranda, grant applications, and presentations to elected officials, stakeholders, and the public.* Monitors system operations and evaluates effectiveness; recommends modifications to improve safety, mobility, and efficiency.* Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in transportation systems and smart mobility.* Performs other duties as assigned**Benefits:** The City of Tucson offers a generous benefits package for benefit-eligible positions.
