RN PCU

Job Title: RN PCU Location: Columbus, Ohio, 43210

Contract duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 3X12 Hours

Schedule: Nights

Key Responsibilities:

Provide PCU-level nursing care to post-operative and oncology patients

Administer and monitor

chemotherapy

(ONS Chemo preferred)

Manage

oncologic emergencies , including cytokine release syndrome

Titrate and monitor

insulin and heparin drips

Perform

blood transfusions

and administer IV antibiotics

Provide

cardiac telemetry monitoring

and dysrhythmia management

Manage

chest tubes , tracheostomies, and nocturnal CPAP/BiPAP

Maintain strict

infection prevention

and

fall prevention

protocols

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV therapy, pharmacy, RRT, respiratory, and oncology services

Requirements:

RN License (Active)

2+ years PCU experience required

(must have true PCU/Stepdown background)

Certifications Required:

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience

Telemetry interpretation

Chest tube management

Tracheostomy care

Management of dysrhythmias

Preferred:

ONS Chemotherapy Certification
