Who You Are You are a licensed CPA with deep knowledge of compliance with and at least 10 years of experience. You enjoy helping clients and sharing knowledge with your co-workers when you encounter a unique situation that requires you to research and solve a client’s problem. You are looking to advance to a Principal and help grow your firm.
Responsibilities
Apply technical expertise to review and analyze increasingly complex financial statements to support team members in meeting client expectations.
Develop a thorough knowledge of relevant professional standards, emerging laws and regulations, and corporate governance requirements to solve complex problems.
Use well-developed understanding of client businesses to help diagnose opportunities and suggest solutions.
Scope, plan, and manage assignments, leveraging resources for maximum profitability.
Develop long-term relationships with clients based on ability to add value - advising, supporting, and coaching the client.
Share and transfer knowledge with team members and develop a network of resources within the firm to facilitate the sharing of this information.
Provide Senior Associates and Managers with guidance, coaching, and support in career development and area of specialty; Advise and coach Managers on creating and maintaining effective and motivated team environments.
Support the Principal team in developing, driving, and participating in initiatives to recruit talented people by identifying resource requirements, participating in career and recruitment forums, conducting interviews, providing time to speak with potential candidates at career forums, and keeping in touch with candidates.
Identify client decision triggers and criteria and integrates these into the proposal process.
Apply knowledge of the firm's services, systems, and processes to identify the most appropriate sales opportunities with clients and refer them to specialists and divisions within the firm.
Support the Principal team in generating and pursuing new business opportunities and is mindful of the prevailing business environment and the opportunities it may create for consulting opportunities.
Write and publish articles with the research and assistance of associates and senior associates.
Required Skills
Thorough understanding of financial reporting standards and professional regulations.
Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments in the face of competing priorities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Excellent management, team building and organizational skills.
Successful management of multiple client engagements.
Strong sense of ownership and personal accountability.

Particular attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
CPA required.
10+ years of related experience.
