Location : Hazleton, PA Schedule : Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Compensation : $25.00 – $35.00/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Position Overview Under general supervision of the Prefabrication Manager, the Electrical Prefabrication Foreman leads electrical assembly technicians in our prefabrication shop. This role combines hands‑on technical expertise with leadership and planning to ensure high‑quality, safe, and efficient production of prefabricated electrical components.
Key Responsibilities
Employs creative, practical, and cost-effective assembly methods through knowledge of electrical construction environment with a think‑outside‑the‑box planning perspective.
Supervise and mentor assembly technicians to maintain high standards of safety and workmanship
Collaborate with the Prefabrication Manager to plan and execute project requirements
Interpret electrical drawings and develop efficient assembly strategies
Create and modify 2D digital drawings for prefabrication using software tools
Coordinate preconstruction activities and attend project turnover meetings
Communicate effectively with project managers and field leadership
Troubleshoot and resolve production and workflow issuesMaintain inventory and coordinate material needs with purchasing agents
Document time, materials, and team hours using digital systems
Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with standards
Completes job safety analysis forms once (or more) per day as tasks require
Promote a safety‑first culture through daily job safety analysis and supervision
Requirements Educational/Work Experience/Certifications
2 years electrical vocational school preferred
Leadership experience preferred.
Minimum of 4 yrs. related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
Skills/Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft 365, Bluebeam; AutoCAD experience is a plus
Strong understanding of NEC and NFPA 70E codes
Effective verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail and sound judgment/decision‑making abilities
Proactive learner with a desire to continuously improve and grow
Considerable organizational, coordination, and deadline driven abilities
Ability to coach and develop assembly teams skills to meet targeted goals
Ability to complete assigned projects with reasonable direction
Has successfully managed different project sizes of Commercial Electrical projects
Ability to appreciate how their department’s work supports the organization as a whole
Able to evolve with the department to realize the organization’s long‑term goals
Familiarity with Trimble technology is a plus
Working Conditions
Must be comfortable working safely at all times while in an active fabrication shop environment
Shop Foreman/Lead to employ strict supervision of tasks to be completed by assembly team
Must maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to zero‑injury culture
Tasks assigned may include but are not limited to:
Lifting not to exceed fifty pounds
Cutting/grinding, welding and other hot work activities
Use of several types of saws on various materials
Use of drill press/various hand operated drilling equipment
Use of various pipe threading equipment (1/2‑"-6")
Use of conduit bending equipment in various sizes and styles (1/2‑"-4")
Lifting/rigging of heavy components (Work with overhead crane)
Equipment operation as needed.
Special Requirements
Valid PA Driver's License with ability to travel to job sites as needed
Background checks, screenings, and physicals
Maintain work area to acceptable safety and housekeeping standards
Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance
