About the Role
The Maître d’hotel Hospitality Coordinator is the first and last impression of an extraordinary dining experience at Lex Yard. The role requires a warm, engaging presence, keen attention to detail, and a passion for Forbes 5‑Star hospitality.
Responsibilities
Welcome guests and create a personalized experience by recalling guest names.
Escort guests to their seats with poise and hospitality.
Maintain an acute awareness of dining flow, managing reservations and seating assignments.
Communicate with servers and chefs to accommodate special requests, dietary restrictions, and preferences.
Demonstrate deep knowledge of menu and beverage offerings, engaging guests with insights.
Provide anticipatory service, recognizing opportunities to elevate the guest experience before a request is made.
Assist with maintaining the pristine presentation of the entrance and dining areas.
Support opening and closing duties and collaborate with colleagues to uphold a culture of excellence.
Compensation
Hourly rate: $36.50 – $38.00, based on applicable experience.
Qualifications
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to anticipate and fulfill guest needs before they are expressed.
Polished and professional demeanor, passion for hospitality and guest name recognition.
Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast‑paced, high‑touch environment while maintaining a gracious presence.
Prior experience in a fine dining, luxury, Forbes 5‑Star, or Michelin‑starred restaurant preferred.
Valid Food Handler Card and Alcohol Awareness certification.
Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
