Bilingual Drug and Alcohol Counselor
in Elizabeth, NJ.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
Provide direct substance use disorder counseling services and support for all assigned clients
Perform client intake process and appropriate initial assessments to determine the need for substane use treatment and mental health care
In collaboration with client, develop client- informed/ direct goals and treatment plans
Carry an active caseload of 38 to 45 clients
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Maintain active New Jersey Alcohol and Drug Counselor License, (LCADC)
Must be Bilingual English and Spanish (required)
A minimum of three years of experience delivering services to individuals and groups
