Our client is seeking Bachelor Level individuals with social work experience in the Bethlehem area.
Available locations: Easton or Northampton
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
To direct clinical activities implemented by the Mental Health Worker
Provide direction to the Mental Health Worker in the development of a calendar of group topics
To review the lesson plans associated with the calendar of group topics
Facilitate individual & group counseling sessions
To provide individual sessions to students who are experiencing challenges in the school environment at the recommendation from administration
To provide crisis intervention and stabilization strategies on an immediate need basis consistent with trained TACT2 techniques
To work with families on a regular and as needed basis
Contribute towards the development and maintenance of an environment which is non-threatening, safe, nurturing, and where students feel respected, accepted, and welcome
To maintain records in accordance with all state and federal guidelines
Other duties as requested
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in a recognized related Mental Health Clinical Discipline required
1-2 year case manager experience experience
Ability to work with diverse populations
Comfortable working in school setting
Valid Drivers License
Ability to complete and pass given clearances including: FBI, state and child background checks and completed
