Clerical/Administrative Support For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $3,000 sign on bonus for Patient Service Representatives (PSRs):
Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time PSR position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
This is a 40-hour per week position.
MaineHealth Urology - Biddeford | MaineHealth is looking for a Patient Service Specialist. As a PSS in Orthopedics, you’ll be the friendly expert who helps patients navigate their care with ease. From coordinating appointments to supporting a fast‑paced clinical team, you’ll play a key role in helping patients get back to doing what they love.
What you’ll do:
Greet patients with warmth and professionalism
Manage patient scheduling, check-in, and check-out processes
Answer phones and assist with appointment coordination
Verify insurance and process referrals
Support the clinical team with administrative tasks to keep the practice running smoothly
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
License/Certifications: N/A
Experience: Six months of medical office experience required.
