Overview Good Shepherd Hospice is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and discreet Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to C‑Suite leadership. This role extends beyond traditional administrative duties and serves as a trusted partner to senior executives by managing priorities, supporting people‑focused initiatives, and driving operational and organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced healthcare environment, demonstrates exceptional judgment, and brings a strong understanding of organizational support.
Responsibilities Manage complex executive calendars, communications, and stakeholder interactions while prioritizing people‑related and organizational needs.
Coordinate travel, meetings, and events to ensure seamless executive support.
Prepare executive‑level reports, presentations, and briefing materials for leadership and board review.
Anticipate executive needs, proactively resolve issues, and remove obstacles to maintain operational efficiency.
Handle confidential information, records, and expense processing with the highest level of discretion and compliance.
Support or lead cross‑functional projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and accountability are met.
Facilitate meetings, develop agendas, track action items, and follow up on next steps.
Qualifications
Required
5+ years of experience supporting C‑Suite executives (CEO, COO, CFO, or similar) in a fast‑paced, mid‑to‑large organization.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience supporting leadership in healthcare, hospice, or high‑growth environments.
Background in board support or cross‑functional project coordination.
Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to adapt proactively across all levels of the organization.
