Overview Join Briljent as an Accounting Assistant to provide high‑level administrative support and lead all phases of audits—from planning and fieldwork to reporting—while upholding the highest standards of quality assurance and confidentiality. Location & Eligibility Position is on‑site in Indianapolis (north side). Must be eligible to work in the U.S.; no sponsorships are available. Responsibilities Plan, conduct risk assessments, fieldwork, and reporting of audit findings. Perform quality assurance, proofread, format documents, and prepare reports and deliverables. Maintain security and confidentiality of all protected health information during material analysis. Review applicable federal and state policies and regulations. Demonstrate excellence in communication skills, data gathering, analysis, reporting, and process improvement. Work with project teams to complete project deliverables. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word. Well‑organized with high accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to perform quality reviews of own work. Excellent verbal and written communication across all organization levels. Team player with ability to collaborate effectively. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting all obligations. Familiarity with health care terminology preferred. Experience (or ability to learn) with SQL and business analytic software such as Tableau or Power BI preferred. 2 years’ experience in an office environment preferred. Strong data entry and typing skills.
