Unit Secretary III – 7 North (Inpatient Medical Oncology)
An essential role in supporting clinical staff and ensuring efficient patient care operations.
Responsibilities
Answer the phone and direct calls appropriately.
Assemble and break down patient charts.
Enter diet and supply orders into the system.
Retrieve laboratory and radiology results on the computer.
Respond to patient call lights.
Run errands around the hospital as requested by Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses.
Assist family members with concerns and inquiries.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and customer–service orientation.
Prior medical or administrative experience preferred.
