Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Adult Endocrinologist to join our dynamic clinical team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality, virtual endocrine care to adult patients. You will work closely with our clinical and product teams to create and execute evidence-based, personalized care plans that support the management of various endocrine conditions. This position is ideal for a proactive clinician with at least three years of clinical experience in endocrinology and a strong background in telehealth.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality virtual care to adult patients with a range of endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid disease, PCOS, metabolic syndrome, and osteoporosis Conduct telehealth consultations, review diagnostic tests, prescribe medications and provide referrals as appropriate Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of CDCES professionals, dietitians, and product specialists to develop coordinated care plans Interpret data from medical devices (e.g., CGMs, pumps) to optimize treatment plans Educate patients on condition management, medications, and use of devices, when appropriate, in a clear and empathetic manner Accurately document encounters in accordance with clinical, regulatory, and reimbursement requirements Provide input into the design and refinement of the eddii virtual care model and patient experience
Required Qualifications: Endocrinology MD Board Certified Active, unrestricted medical license in Illinois Must be IMPACT certified in Illinois Minimum of 3 years of adult endocrinology clinical experience post-training Demonstrated experience providing care via telehealth platforms Proficiency with EHR systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications: Licensure in multiple states Experience with digital health platforms and remote patient monitoring tools Background in diabetes technology (e.g., CGMs, insulin pumps) Interest in innovation, gamification, and patient engagement strategies Exposure to startup or fast-paced care delivery models
