Clinic-Based Therapist (South Oxnard)

Position Overview We are seeking Clinic-Based Therapists to join a multidisciplinary treatment team serving children, adolescents, and young adults in South Oxnard. This role provides clinical services to clients with moderate to severe mental health needs and offers strong collaboration with medical and psychiatric providers. This position is well-suited for associates and newer graduates seeking hands-on clinical experience in a supportive team environment.
Client Population Age Range: 0–21 Acuity Level: Moderate to Severe Primarily individual therapy with significant family involvement
Caseload Approximately 25–35 clients
Key Responsibilities Provide individual therapy services Conduct assessments as needed Participate in treatment team meetings Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, and other clinical staff Provide collateral services and case management support to families Maintain timely documentation and compliance with program requirements
Language Requirement Spanish bilingual preferred, but not required
Licensure Requirements Active California associate registration required with the BBS: ACSW AMFT APCC Must have an active BBS number and be in good standing
Ideal Candidate / Must-Have Qualifications Active ACSW, AMFT, or APCC registration Spanish bilingual Comfortable working with children, adolescents, and families Ability to manage a moderate to high caseload Strong collaboration and communication skills within a team-based environment
Experience Expectations Open to
new graduates Prior experience in clinic or community mental health settings is a plus but not required
