School-Based Therapist (High Schools – Oxnard)
Base pay range $30.00/hr – $34.00/hr
Location High schools across Oxnard
Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, independent School-Based Therapist to provide mental health services to high school students across Oxnard. This role supports students with moderate to severe needs and requires strong clinical judgment, collaboration skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide weekly short‑term therapy sessions (primarily 30‑minute sessions) to high school students
Deliver services to students with moderate to severe mental health needs
Maintain a caseload of approximately 18–22 students
Collaborate regularly with Case Managers, School Psychologists, and school staff
Communicate and collaborate with parents/guardians, including meeting with parents 1–2 times per month as needed
Participate in school‑based meetings and coordinate care while maintaining positive relationships with school personnel
Client Population
Age Range: 12–18 (primarily high school students)
Acuity Level: Moderate to Severe
Licensure Requirements
Active California license or associate registration required
Acceptable credentials include:
LMFT / AMFT ,
LCSW / ACSW ,
LPCC / APCC
Seniority Level Associate
