We are seeking a results-driven ERP Leader/Business Systems Consultant for our client to lead all aspects of technology in a complex manufacturing environment. This role will oversee a team of five IT professionals, including ERP administration, desktop support, systems administration, and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will combine strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise to ensure the stability, scalability, and security of all IT operations.

Minneapolis – Hybrid Opportunity
Rate:
Hourly rate between $100-$150/hr DOE

Roles & Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership across all IT functions within a manufacturing setting, ensuring alignment with production, supply chain, and business objectives. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of five direct reports across key areas: ERP administration, desktop support, systems administration, and information security. Drive the successful implementation and adoption of ERP systems to support production planning, inventory management, and financial processes. Deliver hands-on support and troubleshooting across infrastructure, desktop environments, and system performance to minimize downtime and maintain manufacturing continuity. Collaborate with operations, finance, and supply chain leaders to integrate technology that enhances efficiency, traceability, and data-driven decision-making. Establish and maintain IT policies and controls to ensure cybersecurity best practices and regulatory compliance.
Required Skills & Experience
8-10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Hands-on experience with ERP systems and a strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and system integrations. Experience supporting or implementing supply chain planning systems is a strong plus. Proven ability to lead both strategic initiatives and daily IT operations in a plant or multi-site environment. Strong understanding of infrastructure, systems administration, desktop support, and cybersecurity within a manufacturing context. Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
