Position Overview

The Salesforce Public Sector Solution Architect is an industry leader who will be responsible for solution development in support of the Salesforce practice under Enterprise Cloud Applications pillar engagements in collaboration with TEKsystems sales partners. The Salesforce Public Sector Solution Architect will bring thought leadership, current industry know-how, and applied solutions to improve existing service capabilities, engagement and delivery challenges, and any research and development activities. The Salesforce Public Sector Solution Architect directs and owns all technical aspects of Salesforce implementations and/or customizations, including data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchange products, and custom development for our Public Sector customers. Responsibilities

Be the subject matter expert for Salesforce offerings and usage in Public Sector and coordinate with sales and solution team to provide thought leadership to our Public Sector customers. Coordinate with sales and solution team to develop appropriate Salesforce solutions for Public Sector customers based on their specific needs. Coordinate with Salesforce partner alliance team and Salesforce AEs to ensure TEKsystems’ presented solution is in sync with Salesforce. Support Salesforce practice initiatives for Public Sector and develop new offerings based on new legislation or specific Public Sector focus (such as HR1 solutions). Work with other practice leaders to identify competency areas to focus on within Public Sector as well as own a competency area as a subject matter expert and build POVs, competency development plan, and coach others. Design solutions and manage teams developing, testing, and supporting custom Salesforce.com solutions according to our Public Sector customer needs. Share workload and perform hands-on development activities such as configuration, Apex code development, LWC component development, etc. Provide technical leadership, setting best practices (e.g., integration and application development, deployment, testing, iterative refinement). Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code. Key Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of Salesforce product suite and its ecosystem in Public Sector. 5 or more years of experience designing and implementing solutions in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and general Salesforce platform applications. 3 or more years of experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions for Public Sector customers. Successful track record delivering varied sizes of Salesforce projects for enterprise customers. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Experience with Agile delivery model (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and working with Agile tools. Timeliness, reliability, accuracy, dependability, and consistency in performance is a must. Be able to produce artifacts quickly with high accuracy and without any supervision. Must be a self-starter and be able to work collaboratively with multiple practice areas. Qualifications & Education

A technical bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems). 5 or more years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect or equivalent role. 3 or more years of experience in Public Sector environment delivering Salesforce solutions. 5 or more years of consulting experience, including gathering requirements and collaborating with clients to implement technical designs. Ability to travel to customer locations to deliver professional services, as needed. Preferred experience & certifications (2 or more of following or equivalent certifications): • Salesforce Certified Administrator • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator • Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant • Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant • Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer Job Type & Location

Permanent position based out of Boston, MA. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $190000.00/yr. We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification. Additional earnings may be available through incentive programs like annual bonuses, profit sharing, etc. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan or program terms.
