Dental Assistant Job Description We are hiring dental assistants now for part-time and full-time positions! This mobile practice travels to senior care facilities to provide dental and hygiene services on-site at the facility. Compensation is per day, days are typically either 8 or 10 hours. Mileage and tolls are reimbursed.
Base Pay Range $22.00/hr - $26.00/hr
Salary $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Dental Assistant Responsibilities Assist the dentist with dental procedures.
Prepare the patient for dental procedures.
Prepare equipment and instruments for use during dental procedures.
Follow sterilization and safety procedures while assisting in dental procedures.
Clean, disinfect, and store equipment used during dental procedures.
Transport equipment and supplies to and from clinic sites.
Dental Assistant Requirements Must hold current x-ray certification with a minimum of 2 years of experience in dental assisting.
Must enjoy working with elderly patients. Geriatric experience is a plus but not required.
Must be willing and able to transport equipment in your own personal vehicle. A standard 4 door sedan is large enough for everything, but an SUV or crossover may be preferable.
