Dental Assistant Gainesville VA – Spa Creek Health
We are hiring dental assistants for part‑time and full‑time positions in our mobile dental practice that serves seniors on‑site in their communities. Compensation is per day, typically 8 or 10 hours. You will be expected to arrive at our storage office as early as 8:00 AM and transport our mobile equipment to a senior care facility. At the end of the day, you will bring the equipment back for sterilization. Mileage and tolls are reimbursed.
Base Pay Range $22.00/hr – $26.00/hr (per hour, based on skills and experience)
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist with dental procedures
Prepare the patient for dental procedures
Prepare equipment and instruments for use during dental procedures
Follow sterilization and safety procedures while assisting in dental procedures
Clean, disinfect, and store equipment used during dental procedures
Transport equipment and supplies to and from clinic sites
Requirements
Current X‑ray certification with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in dental assisting
Enthusiastic about working with elderly patients. Geriatric experience is a plus but not required
Willing and able to transport equipment in your own personal vehicle (a standard 4‑door sedan is sufficient; an SUV or crossover if preferred)

8‑hour shifts
10‑hour shifts
Monday to Friday
Experience & Certification Required dental assisting experience: 2 years. Required X‑ray certification.
