Company: Eagle Lake Nursing and Rehab Care Center Position Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our Infection Control and Quality Assurance program. This role is vital to ensuring resident safety, regulatory compliance, and the continuous improvement of care within our facility. The Infection Control/QA Nurse will oversee infection prevention initiatives, monitor quality assurance measures, and provide staff education to maintain a culture of safety and excellence. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor the facility's Infection Control Program in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Track and analyze infection trends, report findings, and recommend corrective actions.

Conduct routine rounds to ensure adherence to infection control practices, policies, and procedures.

Lead staff training and education on infection prevention, standard precautions, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with department heads to identify areas of improvement and implement quality assurance measures.

Maintain documentation and prepare reports for facility leadership and regulatory agencies.

Assist in survey readiness and ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines.

Partner with interdisciplinary teams to promote a safe, clean, and health-conscious environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [Insert State].

Experience in infection control and/or quality assurance within a long-term care or healthcare setting strongly preferred.

Certification in Infection Control (CIC) is a plus, but not required.

Strong knowledge of infection prevention standards, quality improvement processes, and regulatory compliance.

Ability to educate and mentor staff in best practices.

Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to resident safety.
