Job Title Physical Therapist
Schedule Options 32 hr (24 RVEs per week - BENEFITED!), Part Time-24 hr (18 RVEs per week) and Per Diem (6 RVEs per week)
* Non-traditional schedules are available, i.e., Thursday-Monday
Locations Area #9 - San Francisco
OR
Area #10 - (Covering cities of San Mateo, Brisbane, Burlingame, Daly City, Redwood City, Hillsborough, Millbrae, Colma, South San Francisco, Pacifica, Belmont, San Bruno, Half Moon Bay)
About the Position Our Licensed Physical Therapists (PT) work in collaboration with the doctor, patient and the patient support system to provide best in class care for return to health and activity. As a Physical Therapist, you are responsible for the evaluation of mobility, strength and level of function. With this information you will establish goals to improve balance, walking, strength, as well as patient education. In the comfort of the patients’ home, the Physical Therapist assesses the home environment to ensure safe mobility is achieved. With your knowledge of best in class techniques, you will recommend equipment to enhance therapy, as well educate the patient on proper use.
In the unique setting of Home Health, each Physical Therapist sets their own schedule. You will find a great level of independence with the established support of an industry leader.
Requirements
Minimum one (1) year experience working as a Licensed Physical Therapist desired
Open to entry level or candidates with no prior home health experience
Current/active Physical Therapy License – State of California
BLS Certification
General knowledge and understanding of clinical verbiage
Strong attention to detail for use in chart documentation
Excellent time management and calendaring skills and ability to deliver documentation timely
Strong experience using computers and computer systems
Experience using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Gmail Suite or other systems
Excellent written and verbal communication
Compensation and Employment *Compensation starting rate indicated on this posting is based on Employees working a Full-Time schedule.
