Job Description: Quantum Surgical Incorporated has entered into an agreement with Johnson & Johnson to acquire the NEUWAVE business. The transaction is anticipated to be completed in Q1 2026, subject to legal, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. If you accept this position, you would become an employee of Quantum Surgical Incorporated and be governed by its employment processes, policies and benefits. You will be an Account Manager for NeuWave Medical, a division of Ethicon, LLC and a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, based in Washington, DC / Richmond / Charlottesville, VA.

NeuWave Medical pioneered the first intelligent ablation system and the only system that has a 17 gauge Precision™ PR probe with distal energy control. The system is computer‑controlled and includes Ablation Confirmation™ software that evaluates technical success during procedures.

We seek a highly motivated Account Manager to develop and execute business plans that drive utilization of NeuWave Medical products. Your role will focus on recruiting new users, educating referring physicians, and executing training sessions for physicians and staff. You will sell probes, service agreements, system upgrades and secondary systems.

Position Expectations:

Generate disposable, equipment and service sales through ongoing management of account relationships at all levels.

Manage all aspects of the customer selling lifecycle to achieve profitable and sustainable sales revenue.

Create value for customers, protect relationships from competitors and foster account growth.

Be accountable for service‑agreement contracts.

Develop and deliver professional education events tailored to each market with deep knowledge of tools and resources.

Serve as a technical consultant during live cases in the procedure room.

Oversee implementation of hospital capital equipment solutions and account development processes.

Understand the roles of physicians, nurses, support staff and hospital administration in the sales process to establish plans and solutions that meet short‑ and long‑term needs.

Monitor hospital strategies and marketplace developments, and communicate to business partners to develop account strategy.

Develop sales plans by account and category using sales‑planning tools, incorporating risk mitigation.

Anticipate and address customer issues and implement corrective action plans.

Meet regularly with hospital administrators, directors and managers to review disposable sales, trends and opportunities that convey the NeuWave/Johnson & Johnson value proposition.

Optimize sales revenue at existing customers, especially through education and orientation of physicians and clinical staff.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s degree

At least 2 years of relevant Medical Device/Healthcare and/or Business‑to‑Business sales experience

Preferred

Strong proven medical‑device sales track record with documented growth and achievements.

Demonstrated success in previous sales roles, indicating high sales performance, influence and selling skills.

Capital equipment experience.

Market development or product launch experience.

Strong business acumen, including C‑Suite customer experience.

Ability to travel up to 50%–60%.

Compensation Anticipated base pay range: $67,000–$117,000.

The position is eligible for an annual performance bonus and a company car through the FLEET program. Employees may participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension, disability plan, vacation, sick time, holidays and personal/family time off.
