For additional information visit https://www.austinregionalclinic.com/careers/ Job Details Description Purpose Responsible for full physician and/or Advance Practice Clinician recruiting cycle, from initial recruitment through final negotiations. Develops and implements targeted candidate acquisition strategies. Serves as the primary contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, including facilitation of the on‑site interview for the candidate and spouse or significant other. Provides assistance with offers and negotiations. Collaborates in the credentialing process and monitors the entire onboarding process to ensure a smooth process. Carries out all duties while maintaining compliance and confidentiality and promoting the mission and philosophy of the organization. Essential Functions Partner with Physician Recruiting Manager to develop a tailored recruitment and advertising plan. Pre‑screen candidates to determine suitability for specific openings and provide recommendations to hiring leaders. Coordinate interview schedules with administration, department chiefs, physician partners and clinic leaders. Identify most qualified talent nationally through utilization of networks, online computer databases, literature searches and responses to advertisements in appropriate professional journals, internet job boards, and other media. Oversee the onboarding process, including background check, drug screen, new employee orientation, etc. Maintain recruitment activity report for administration and department chiefs. Manage the full recruiting cycle from initial recruitment through final negotiations of qualified candidates. Demonstrate exceptional customer service and interact effectively with physicians, Advance Practice Clinicians, patients, residents, visitors, staff and the broader health care community. Respond to inquiries from job applicants regarding employment opportunities and benefits overview information. Assist Physician Recruiting Manager in investigating and developing marketing techniques to improve recruiting and the organization's name and recognition. Review and evaluate applicant qualifications or eligibility for specified licensing, according to established guidelines and board eligibility. Conduct candidate sourcing using various recruiting platforms. Work closely with the credentialing department to ensure a timely start date. Work with HR team to file and maintain employment records for new hires. Assess candidate’s additional needs and coordinate visits with realtors, schools, community needs, etc. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Adhere to all company policies, including but not limited to OSHA, HIPAA, compliance and Code of Conduct. Maintain regular and dependable attendance. Follow the core competencies set forth by the Company, available for review on ARC SharePoint. Other Duties and Responsibilities Actively participate and attend as needed a variety of meetings and seminars. Assist with CMS staff sourcing or recruiting if needed. Manage recruiting projects while maintaining full recruiting workload. Attend recruiting‑related events. Request and/or conduct references. Provide knowledge of norms and trends from the healthcare industry. Partner with Physician Recruiting Manager to assist with projecting yearly recruitment expenditures for budgetary control. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Experience Required High school diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two (2) or more years of physician, Advance Practice Clinician, or healthcare executive level recruitment experience or three (3) or more years of experience in a medical field working with physicians in a medical setting. Preferred Previous sales/marketing and/or public relations experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of medical terminology. Knowledge of medical office operations. Strong attention to detail. In‑depth understanding of current federal, state, and local employment/labor laws and regulations. Knowledge of effective Human Resources methods and practices. Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, administrative office, and medical office staff. Ability to work with minimal supervision/direction, work well with deadlines and stressful situations, and demonstrate ability to work in a team environment. Exercise independent judgment. Utilize strategies that address both short‑term requirements and long‑term company needs. Ability to engage others, listen and adapt response to meet others’ needs. Ability to align own actions with those of other team members committed to common goals. Excellent computer and keyboarding skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage competing priorities. Ability to perform job duties in a professional manner at all times. Ability to understand, recall, and communicate factual information. Ability to understand complex problems and collaborate and explore alternative solutions. Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology. Ability to apply common sense in performing job. Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule. Work Schedule Monday through Friday, plus occasional early morning, evening, and/or weekend hours as required by business needs.
