Join to apply for the Phlebotomist role at Aspire Fertility Austin Description We have an exciting opening for a qualified Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant to fill a full‑time position in our north Tampa clinic. Job Details Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:15 AM – 4:00 PM Essential Duties Maintains patient confidentiality, including files and records. Prints testing requisitions. Follows the schedule and performs the tests ordered according to schedule and lab requisition. Labels each specimen tube with the appropriate identifiers: patient name, DOB, date and time of collection, ID number, and initials. Uses EMR to print barcode/label. Packages and ships specimens when necessary. Processes blood specimens according to testing requirements appropriate to the lab where testing is performed. Handles biohazard materials. Sanitation, stocking and cleaning of exam rooms. Requirements Phlebotomy Certification or equivalent experience through past employment. Must love doing Phlebotomy—all day, every day! High school diploma or GED required.
