Phlebotomist I – North Dartmouth, MA Thursday and Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (Part‑time) Pay range: $20.58 – $22.74 / hour. Salary offers are based on skills, training, experience, education, and certifications. Successful candidates may be eligible for annual performance bonus compensation. Responsibilities Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams). Administer oral solutions according to established training. Research and confirm test/client information, verifying written and electronic orders using laboratory technology systems, client contact, and approved tools. Navigate a computer and enter data accurately. Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments when required, following corporate policies. Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport as required by the test order. Perform all non‑patient‑facing duties (inventory, stocking supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and utilizing email as appropriate). Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures. Assist with compiling and submitting statistics and data when required. Maintain all appropriate phlebotomy logs in a timely manner (maintenance logs, temperature logs). Complete online and in‑person training courses promptly. Qualifications Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic training) preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington. Required Experience: One year phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience. The position requires effective communication in English.
