Lab Technician, Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration (Student Worker) (Part-Time, Temporary) Join to apply for the Lab Technician, Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration (Student Worker) (Part-Time, Temporary) role at Wake Technical Community College. This position assists in organization, preparation, and maintenance of Wake Tech Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration labs. Prepares equipment for laboratory use Maintains an accurate inventory of equipment and supplies Assists students in labs with understanding the objectives of the laboratory Assists students in developing troubleshooting skills Assists with preparing and setting up equipment and parts needed to conduct laboratory assignments Assists instructors as needed with lab equipment Assists with lab safety and procedures Confers with instructors to determine supply and equipment needs Performs maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent written and oral communication skills Knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools, including machine tools Knowledge of lab safety procedures and processes Requirements Current Wake Tech Student enrolled in Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology Program Preferences One year of experience in Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology OR an equivalent combination of education and experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
