We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team in a growing construction company. The ideal candidate will have strong accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR) knowledge, proven experience managing people, and proficiency with accounting systems. This role is key to ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and supporting strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, and payroll. Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team, ensuring high performance and professional growth. Review and reconcile financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and GAAP. Monitor cash flow, budgets, and project costs for construction projects. Implement and maintain effective accounting systems and processes to streamline operations. Prepare and present monthly financial reports to management. Collaborate with eternal CPAs Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory/management role. Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles. Experience in construction accounting. Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, FOUNDATION, or similar). Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
