Unit Secretary/Nursing Tech - Progressive Care 7F Location: 1100 Central Avenue SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87106-4930, United States of America Base Pay Range: $15.59/hr - $23.70/hr (actual pay based on your skills and experience) Summary: Make a difference. Presbyterian Hospital is hiring a Unit Secretary/Nurse Tech for the Progressive Care Unit 7F. You will perform secretarial and clerical duties while acting as a communication center for the nursing unit. You will also perform specific patient‐care procedures (such as bedside testing) under the direction of a licensed nurse and/or perform specific support procedures for the operation of a nursing or clinical department. You will operate patient monitoring systems. Sign‑on and relocation bonuses are available for qualified candidates. Responsibilities: Perform secretarial/clerical duties for the unit. Act as the communication center for the nursing unit. Execute patient‑care procedures (e.g., bedside testing) under a licensed nurse. Perform support‑procedures for nursing or clinical department operations. Operate patient monitoring systems. Qualifications: High School/GED. Clinical experience or completion of a Unit Secretary course or a self‑study module (preferred). Successfully complete competency verification before starting on the assigned unit.
