We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Attorney to join our reputable law firm. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in personal injury law and a comprehensive understanding of various legal disciplines, including litigation, legal research, and legal drafting. This role offers an opportunity to represent clients effectively and contribute to the success of our legal team through exceptional advocacy and client service.
*Duties*
* Manage a caseload of personal injury claims from inception through resolution, including negotiations and trial preparation. * Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies. * Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity. * Advocate on behalf of clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings. * Maintain detailed case files and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements. * Collaborate with experts and other legal professionals across various practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, and more. * Stay current on developments in personal injury law and related fields to provide informed counsel. * Utilize legal research tools like Westlaw and LexisNexis efficiently to support casework. * Provide excellent client communication and ensure clients are well-informed throughout the legal process.
*Requirements*
* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. * Admission to the state bar and in good standing. * Proven experience in personal injury law with a strong track record of successful case outcomes. * Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis. * Exceptional writing skills with the ability to draft clear, persuasive legal documents. * Strong negotiation skills for settlement discussions and mediations. * Knowledge of litigation procedures and courtroom procedures. * Experience or familiarity with estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law is preferred but not required. * Legal administrative experience is advantageous for managing case documentation efficiently. * Excellent research abilities coupled with analytical thinking to develop effective case strategies.
