These roles provide essential assistance to healthcare professionals in delivering patient care. Ensure the smooth functioning of clinical operations by handling tasks that support the diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural aspects of patient care. Allied Health – Health Services professionals work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services. These roles encompass a wide range of responsibilities focused on the care, treatment, and maintenance of oral health. Responsibilities include the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions affecting the teeth, gums, and other structures of the mouth. Responsibilities Individual contributors with responsibility in a clinical discipline or specialty spend the majority of their time delivering support services or activities, typically under supervision. Opportunities for progression outside this career stream are limited without additional education or significant training and experience. Minimum Requirements Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent required. Successful completion of a Dental Radiation Safety Course by an Accredited Program of Study required. Experience: None. Licensure: American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification within 90 days of hire. Dental Assistant Certification within two years of hire. Physical Demands Job requires sitting or standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending, stooping, traveling, stepping, and reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; attention to detail and ability to write legibly; ability to lift, push or pull less than 20 lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, vibrations, humidity, radiation, noise, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
