Title: Phlebotomist I Location: 303, Se 17Th St Ste 308, Ocala, Florida, United States, 34471 Duration: 4 months Shift timings: M - F, 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM with rotational Saturdays Description: The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who come in, either as part of their health routine or for insights into health decisions. The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures. The PSR I has direct contact with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence, explaining procedures, and drawing blood specimens skillfully, safely, and accurately. The PSR I demonstrates leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence and maintaining sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information. Under the supervision of the area supervisor, performs daily activities accurately and timely. Maintains a safe and professional environment. Performs forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established protocols. Maintains required records and documentation. Promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public, demonstrating organizational commitment. Job Requirements: Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime based on staffing needs. Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington. Work Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience required. One year of phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service experience in retail or service environments preferred. Keyboard data entry experience is mandatory. #J-18808-Ljbffr
