Position Phlebotomist II (Full‑time Contract) Location Faribault, MN 55021 – onsite Duration 2 months Responsibilities Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures. Maintain direct contact with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures. Verify patient demographic information, initials and signatures post‑venipuncture to confirm correct labeling. Maintain required records and documentation. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred. Experience Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada and Washington). 6 months to 1 year of phlebotomy experience, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections. Preferred: 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment. Preferred: customer service experience in a retail or service setting. Keyboard/data entry experience.
