Medical Associates Clinic is hiring a full-timeLaboratory Supervisor. This role is responsible for supervising Receptionists and Phlebotomists and assisting the Manager of Laboratory in the operations of the Laboratory team. Location: This position is based out of both East and West campuses in Dubuque, IA. Perform supervisory duties to include but not limited to: managing efficient workflows, staff performance evaluations, managing performance concerns, schedules, selection, mentor and training of new staff. Together with the Laboratory Manager, evaluate and enhance workflows within the reception and phlebotomy teams to improve efficiency, patient experience, and operational consistency. Develop and implement workflow modifications to align with evolving clinic and departmental goals. Collaborate closely with team members and relevant departments to ensure streamlined processes and optimal service delivery. Create SOPs to ensure standardization of processes. Provide support and knowledge to receptionists and phlebotomists in day-to-day operations by assuring, prioritizing, and directing the workflow as needed. Assist with questions or situations that may need elevation, assist in troubleshooting to solve problems that are present. Complete all other assigned projects and duties. Knowledge & Skills: Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Education: Equivalent to a two‑year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study or certification at a business or trade school. Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, and/is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary. #J-18808-Ljbffr
