Mobridge Regional Hospital EMS could be the perfect fit for you. Full‑time and part‑time, as well as PRN schedules are available for Paramedics and EMTs. Mobridge Regional Hospital is located on the banks of Lake Oahe, in Northern South Dakota. We are a full‑time ALS service for Mobridge and surrounding communities for 911 calls. We also provide transfers from Mobridge Regional Hospital to larger facilities. Our team of emergency professionals also provides assistance in the ER with opportunities to assist in other areas of the hospital. Our EMS staff can work both 12‑hour and 24‑hour shifts, with consecutive shifts available for less travel. Housing is available for those who travel to work. Qualifications All positions require certification/ licensure with the State Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners and NREMT. All EMS positions require a valid driver’s license with a driving record that falls within company policy. Must have BLS or obtain it upon hire or obtain it as soon as it is offered. Other certifications desired are ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, PHTLS. These certifications are offered to employees in the EMS department. Monthly training for CEUs is also provided. Must be able to carry out effective principles and methods of emergency medical services. All staff should have the ability to handle sometimes difficult and stressful situations, communicate effectively, and work as a valued team member. The Mobridge Regional Hospital EMS has state‑of‑the‑art equipment to include Hamilton Vents, Glide scopes, LifePak 15 as well as power lifts. Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals and emergency personnel in a variety of situations. Computer proficiency is needed as Mobridge Regional Hospital is part of a sophisticated EMR system.
