Growth Recruiter – Alpha Omega
Location: Vienna, VA (Hybrid).
Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified Growth Recruiter to join the Talent Acquisition team. This role will work closely with our business development and capture teams to determine key personnel, incumbent, and strategic hires needed to win contracts and grow the firm. This recruiter will report to the Head of Talent Acquisition with a direct focus on supporting hiring for our growth businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Provide full life cycle talent acquisition support for proposal and pre‑award staffing needs in assigned business sector
Work closely with business development and capture teams to qualify staffing needs and establish priorities and timelines for new pursuits and recompetes of current contracts
Analyze customer priorities, challenges, and upcoming changes to help provide contracting team with intel and shape a strong talent acquisition strategy
Evaluate current team structure, key influencers, and retention risks
Capture operational details—including tools, systems, workflows, and required outputs
Identify critical personnel and onboarding needs to support smooth transition planning and customer engagement
Responsible for filling all Key Personnel and Incumbent hiring for proposal submission on assigned contracts
Responsible for sourcing and recruiting strategic hires as needed by the business
Identify challenges/risks associated with staffing delivery and help propose solutions
Help maintain tracker with timelines and staffing requirements for all active proposals in assigned sector
Provide regular status updates to TA Leadership, Capture, and Business Development teams on pipeline
Partner with TA Leadership on project plans for staffing
Ensure seamless handoff of requisitions and staffing plan to TA Team during transition phase upon contract award
Build and maintain candidate relationships with a high‑touch, consultative approach as well as a personalized candidate experience across the sector
Leverage data and reporting to monitor recruitment metrics and optimize processes for security clearance roles
Responsible for the data integrity of the ATS, including candidate emails, interview feedback, assessments (if applicable), digital offer letters, and candidate dispositions/statuses
Required Qualifications
5+ years of full life cycle technical recruiting experience
Significant understanding of Security Clearances processes, levels, and requirements
Experience working on strategic hiring initiatives
Strong Boolean search skills and experience sourcing candidates from LinkedIn and online job boards
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively with senior organizational leadership
Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment and source high‑caliber talent in an extremely competitive job market
Strong OFCCP knowledge and discipline
Consultative approach toward clients with proven ability to influence others and build strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders
Ability and desire to network with and source candidates utilizing a multitude of technology platforms
Ability to quickly acquire a strong understanding of relevant firm businesses, recruiting policies, procedures, and systems and educate colleagues and clients on industry best practices
Demonstrate a willingness to step outside of comfort zone and develop new methodologies and approaches in the spirit of experimentation and innovation and create talent pipelines across the enterprise
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with iCIMS Applicant Tracking System
Experience with Workday
Understanding of government proposal process
Experience recruiting cleared candidates from TS/SCI up to Full Scope Polygraph level preferred
Salary & Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is $83,000 – $115,000 . This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
