Job Responsibilities
Support managers and employees as their general point of contact on all matters, including but not limited to:
General benefits knowledge
Employee‑relations full‑service support, including being present for and/or conducting disciplinary conversations, investigations, and terminations as needed
HRIS support and information management
Compliance‑related activities such as ensuring ongoing regulations and certifications are met
Recruitment support when needed
Coordination of any employee leaves in conjunction with HR leaders to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legislation and company policies
Staying aware of any employment and case law that may directly impact the region we support
Provide high‑level customer service to both internal and external customers
Regularly review compensation to ensure FLSA compliance
Handle employment‑related inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
Review and create internal policies and procedures to ensure smooth and thorough best practices
Working knowledge and application of HIPAA and OSHA compliance
Assist with other HR projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications
4–5 years’ experience in the Human Resources field preferred
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as Associate/Junior Generalist or Generalist required
Bachelor’s degree required
Healthcare recruitment experience highly preferred
Experience using an HRIS system required; Workday preferred
Experience using an ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
Must be computer savvy and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Exude excellent employee and candidate relationship‑building skills
Must be agile, fast‑paced, and innovative
Must have a valid driver’s license
Travel
While primarily a remote position, the employee is required to attend monthly in‑office cadence. From time to time, additional in‑person team meetings may be required as well. Additionally, the employee must be available to travel to visiting offices or acquisition‑related support typically 1–2 days at a time; travel outside the nearby region is covered by SDG.

Compensation Range
$60,000 – $75,000
