Opportunity The Herff Jones Cap and Gown team, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, is looking for Temp to Perm Warehouse Associates to join our team. How You'll Make An Impact Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, you will be responsible for pulling, packing, and inspecting graduation apparel orders. Learn to meet production and quality standards for this operation. Learn how to train and direct new personnel. Learn about all product lines and processes in the warehouse. Ability to select material by quality standards, colors, styles, and shades. Ability to recognize colors and different cloth styles. What You'll Bring To The Table Must be self‑motivated. Must have adequate computer skills. Reading, writing, and math skills commensurate with job duties. Physical strength and dexterity to perform essential job functions. Must be able to recognize colors and different cloth styles. Must be able to work all mandatory overtime. Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. Job may require lifting to, but not exceeding 30 pounds. Physical Activities Daily activity includes but is not limited to: Lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting. Reading, communication, simple math. Be able to regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to above moderate. Standing, walking, squatting, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling for an 8–10‑hour shift is required.
