COMSEC Administrator III
Location: Alexandria, VA
Clearance: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
Responsibilities
Responsible for the custody and accountability of centrally and locally accountable COMSEC material
Responsible for acquisition, control, and distribution of all classified COMSEC material associated with COMSEC account
Performs other duties as described in regulatory documents
Guide users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies
Advise upper management on the changes and new developments in the security accountability, physical security, standard operating procedures and policies regarding COMSEC security and materials
Serves as advisor to clients in assigned subject areas, recommends functional changes, and identifies areas for further investigation
Generates recommendations in the form of briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnel
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position; an additional 4 years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree
Minimum four (6) years of directly related COMSEC experience in addition to education level
KMI certification or equivalent (i.e., other crypto management training/certification)
Experience working in a DoD or IC environment desired
Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
