Job Description The Assistant Front Office Manager (AFOM) is responsible for the shift management of the daily Front Office Department operation. This position is also responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service, quality and preferred standards are met at all times. This is a full-time position that requires a combination of morning and evening shifts, and at least 2 overnight (3rd) shifts per week. The applicant must be available to work various shifts, weekends and holidays as business needs dictate. Also must be willing to fill in as needed.

Job Duties

Acting as MOD and manage all Front Office operations to include, but not limited to, guest service and registration (check-in/check-out), room inventory and availability, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation.

Responsible for Guest Service Agents, and Bellman/Drivers

Ensure compliance with Hilton standards

Meet and greet guests and respond to guest inquiries, requests and issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner and resolves guest concerns

Train and ensure team members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, facilities, events, pricing and policies and knowledge of the local area and events

Job Requirements

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent is required

Minimum of 2 year of Front Office supervisory experience preferred

Minimum of 2 years Hotel Front Office experience preferred

Hilton OnQ systems knowledge preferred

Must have guest service experience, preferably in a hotel environment

Must be 21 years or older

Must be able to multi-task in a busy environment, follow through on guest and employee requests, ensure guest satisfaction, and work as a team player

Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential

Flexible schedule required for days, evenings, overnights, week, weekends and holidays

Ability to effectively communicate in English with supervisor, fellow employees and guests
