Role Overview This is a revenue‑generating sales role.

As an Account Executive at Vontive, you will own the complete sales cycle for residential investment property mortgages – from cultivating relationships with real estate investors to closing deals and driving revenue growth. This role combines consultative B2C sales with financial expertise. You will be directly accountable for generating revenue and earn attractive compensation, based on your performance.

No mortgage experience required.

You will complete Vontive's comprehensive sales training program where you will learn our mortgage products, real estate investing fundamentals, underwriting principles, and how to leverage our proprietary technology platform. We are specifically seeking highly motivated, talented salespeople from outside the mortgage industry who bring fresh perspectives and proven sales skills.

What You’ll Do Revenue Generation and Sales

Own revenue targets: Generate $600K–$1M in annual revenue through proactive sales activities and relationship development

Convert qualified leads: Engage with inbound leads and convert them into repeat borrowers through consultative selling

Build your pipeline: Maintain a healthy pipeline of 50–80 active opportunities, managing multiple deals simultaneously through various stages of the sales cycle

Close deals: Take full ownership of the sales process from initial contact through loan closing, ensuring on‑time delivery and exceptional borrower experience

Drive repeat business: Build lasting relationships that generate referrals and repeat transactions from satisfied investor clients

Client Relationship Development

Develop deep relationships with real estate investors, understanding their investment strategies, property portfolios, and financing needs

Educate investors on Vontive's mortgage products, competitive rates, and loan structures tailored to fix‑and‑flip, ground‑up construction, and rental property investments

Position yourself as a go‑to financing solution provider for your clients’ investment strategies

Loan Structuring and Execution

Prepare and present compelling loan quotes, while prequalifying lending opportunities to ensure eligibility for Vontive's lending criteria

Guide borrowers through the loan application, quoting, underwriting, and closing process, proactively addressing questions and concerns

Collaborate with Sales Analyst, Operations, and Capital Markets to ensure smooth execution and problem‑solve any issues

Maintain clear communication with borrowers throughout the process, managing expectations and delivering on commitments

Sales Operations and Technology

Master Vontive's proprietary technology platform to deliver superior client experiences

Maintain rigorous CRM discipline, tracking interactions, pipeline metrics, and revenue forecasts

Contribute feedback to continuously improve processes, tools, and the borrower experience

Required Qualifications

Proven complex sales performance: 3–5 years of B2B or B2B2C complex sales experience where customer retention is a key success factor with demonstration of a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota

Revenue accountability: Demonstrated ability to manage your own book of business and hit revenue targets independently

Consultative approach: Natural ability to educate and build trust rather than use high‑pressure tactics

Financial acumen: Comfort with numbers, financial concepts, and analyzing investment returns

Pipeline management: Proven ability to juggle multiple opportunities and manage a complex sales pipeline

CRM proficiency: Experience with CRM systems and commitment to process discipline

Communication excellence: Exceptional verbal and written skills with ability to simplify complex concepts and effectively collaborate with internal/external stakeholders

Ideal Background We're specifically targeting candidates with sales experience in commercial insurance, SAAS/technology, commercial equipment leasing/financing, wealth management/financial advisory, and medical device/equipment sales. Traditional mortgage industry experience is not required and may not be a fit for our culture and approach.

Compensation And Benefits Financial Package

On‑target earnings: $150,000 to $300,000+ annually based on revenue generated

Salary range: Approximately $150,000 to $300,000+ OTE
