SeniorIT Engineer
Job Purpose
The IT Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive IT solutions that align with our business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, network architecture, software development, and data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects and a passion for staying current with emerging technologies. Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable and secure cloud-based solutions using platforms such as AWS or Azure. Develop and maintain network architecture, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Collaborate with development teams to create robust software solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems. Oversee the design and management of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and virtualization technologies. Conduct thorough assessments of current IT environments and identify areas for improvement. Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for security, performance, and scalability. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud computing, networking, development, and data center technologies. Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field. Experience
Minimum previous experience of 7 years in IT Architecture and Networki9ng with a focus on cloud, network, development, and data center infrastructure. Skills / Attributes
Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Proficiency in network design and management, including LAN / WAN, VPN, firewalls, and load balancers. Experience with software development methodologies and tools, such as Agile, DevOps, and CI / CD. In-depth knowledge of data center technologies, including servers, storage, virtualization, and disaster recovery. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or VMware Certified Professional (VCP) are a plus. Possess an unwavering commitment to excellence. Strong quantitative and analytical mindset with attention to detail. Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences. Self-starter with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic. Travel
