Territory Manager – NPAworldwide
We are hiring a Territory Manager to provide industrial hardware directly to customers within a defined geographic territory through cold‑calling and prospecting activities. Applicants must reside within the territory.
Responsibilities
Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and calling on other businesses in close proximity to existing customers.
Make face‑to‑face calls on cold and warm prospects.
Serve customers according to company training materials.
Submit complete and accurate daily business reports detailing sales orders and prospect calls.
Present products and services to existing and prospective customers using sample boards, product demos, and the mobile store.
Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing, and functionality of the mobile store.
Continuously update customer contact information using company software (notes, phone numbers, email addresses, and current physical address).
Provide an approved fully insured vehicle, covering insurance, fuel, maintenance, and necessary instruments (tablets, iPads, phones).
Participate in ongoing professional development activities to improve job‑related skills.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
Industrial sales experience preferred, especially route or industrial sales.
Proven history of goal attainment.
Required Skills
Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills.
Detail‑oriented.
Clear verbal and written communication.
Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications.
Working knowledge of the products we sell is helpful.
Other Requirements
Must be able to purchase or lease an approved vehicle (mobile store).
Must reside within the territory.
Above‑average mechanical interest.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to kneel and bend to the floor regularly.
Clean driving history.
Conduct oneself professionally when representing the company (approved vehicle, company attire, company functions).
