Medical Surgical Nurse - PRN

Responsibilities
Deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift.
Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation.
Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
One year of experience in a medical/surgical unit.
Active Texas RN license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA).
Completion of quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
Location & Facilities Located just off Highway 59 south, the 66‑bed hospital in Livingston serves more than 60,000 patient services each year, with half of those services offered in the Level 4 Trauma‑Designated Emergency Department. Services include orthopedic care, women’s services, a sleep center, and state‑of‑the‑art imaging services.
Pay $42.00 per hour.
