We are offering the Clinician a $3,000 sign‑on bonus for new employees.
What You Will Do
Provide clinical services for the UC Program, including individual assessments, individual counseling, group counseling and family sessions
Conduct initial risk assessments and screen each new child for Human Trafficking
Determine child’s psychiatric diagnosis based on DSM‑5 criteria
Conduct weekly individual and group counselling sessions
Complete treatment plan when applicable (client admitted more than 30 days)
Participate in weekly case coordination meetings with funder
Provide direct services to children to maintain staff/client ratio per ORR policy
Ensure timely completion of all documentation in UC Portal within 48 hours of event occurrence
Complete Significant Incident Report in UC Portal immediately after notification
Respond to on‑call emergencies and provide crisis intervention during intake assessments
Transport UC clients to appointments and perform all other duties as assigned

What You Will Need
Must have a Master’s degree in Social Work with clinical experience or a Master’s in Psychology, Mental Health, or another behavioral science; program requires direct clinical experience
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure; State of Florida license in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, or Psychology
Knowledge of community organizations and resources
Effective oral and written communication skills in a therapeutic environment
Ability to form alliances with community organizations/referral sources
Ability to perform individual and family assessments independently
Skilled in cross‑cultural or multicultural environments
Bilingual: English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole/French, highly recommended
Potential exposure to stressful situations involving verbally or physically aggressive clients
Potential exposure to communicable diseases
Must provide evidence of immunization: Varicella (2 doses), MMR (2 doses), Influenza (1 dose yearly), Tdap (1 dose)
Must have a valid driver’s license with auto insurance coverage
